Worst paragraph of the month:
"Following the release of the first 9 tracks in this Summer's Singles program, Adult Swim is back today to share the revised schedule for the remainder of this year's series. The program will resume tomorrow, with new music coming from Shabazz Palaces. Next week will see the release of a Big Freedia remix of Sia (in lieu of the previously announced SOPHIE remix of Sia -- sorry folks!), followed by Skrillex the week after. Following the release of Skrillex's new single on 8/24, the program will return to it's regularly scheduled programming through it's conclusion on 10/12."

Oh shut up. I was so excited for this. Super disappointing. I just hope we get to hear it eventually.

we'll get more SOPHIE-related tracks this year compared to last year, so I'm still optimistic.

YOU SHOULD EITHER KEEP IT UNANNOUNCED OR JUST RELEASE IT. Sorry, I just hate broken promises.

To be fair, being replaced by Big Freedia isn't the worst scenario. Thouhh with how much Sophie's music has been held back this is upsetting

I am getting really frustrated with all this Yep, same. It's honesty really turned me off from his music a lot lately. Musically, it's wonderful stuff, but since June of 2013 we've gotten, what, 4 minutes of actual original music? The whole mysterious/unknown producer thing has been played out for years now, and throwing that in with releasing almost no new music since his debut is just... inexcusable. It's a sham. Nothing takes that much finesse and hand-wringing. Release the shit and move on to the next idea.

Since June of 2013, he's released: 'Solo' Releases: Bipp/Elle Lemonade/Hard Produced These Tracks: QT - Hey QT Namie Amuro - B Who I Want 2 B Liz - When I Rule The World Co-produced: Madonna - Bitch I'm Madonna Remixes: Paris Suit Yourself - Won't K (SOPHIE Remix) Yelle - Moteur Action (SOPHIE & A.G. Cook Remix) I'm sure I've missed some but that's what he's released since June 2013. That's a bit more than 4 minutes of music. And then there's all the stuff that's been cooking. The Charli XCX songs, going into the studio with Yelle, working with Le1f, etc. I know it's frustrating to not have had any news about new releases and then getting the news that a release has been cancelled. But honestly, SOPHIE doesn't owe us anything and he's been constantly touring and producing in that time too. So I don't think that vitriol aimed at him is really that fair. There's a lot of great officially released music by him already out and countless other bootlegs if what has been released doesn't sustain you. I'm sure we're also going to hear about the next Numbers releases any day now.

Hasn't been reported yet, so I don't have a link unfortunately. Here's the updated schedule: 8/11 - Shabazz Palaces 8/17 - Sia (Big Freedia Remix) 8/24 - Skrillex 8/31 - Slayer 9/8 - Chromatics 9/14 - DOOMSTARKS 9/21 - Myrkur 9/28 - Flying Lotus 10/5 - Run The Jewels 10/12 - BONUS TRACKS: Shantih Shantih, Dasher, Low Estate, Scanning Antarctica
SOPHIE doesn't owe us anything and he's been constantly touring and producing in that time too. So I don't think that vitriol aimed at him is really that fair.
100% agree
