i like this song, but i wish it was something different It's probably very different than the boiler room version. It could be the song he plays live with the higher loop and shop music in it, except with the higher vocals instead of hard

These are new promo pics. They were used in NME's review as well so they were probably part of the press package sent out to reviewers. Agreed, also we know Sophie is a huge perfectionist who likes releasing music in very small dribs and drabs. He doesn't seem like a multiple exclusives type of guy. But remember the RinseFM set? He played about 25 minutes of unreleased material all of the rinse fm set gives me so much life.

*tiny celebratory motion with hands* Yay! So glad he didn't end up scrapping this track for parts like I was worried he would, it's so fun. Even if it turns out to be the silicon product track as well and the surprise was spoiled (which, given musicians' track record of frantically searching for anything to use as a Japanese bonus track, is probably the case) I'm just happy we're getting this out of the Product hype cycle. As long as it keeps the DDR-announcer vocals, but he'd never get rid of those, right?

I just hope those "oh yeah!"/"moooore higher" DDR announcer vocals stay in the song, that's what sold it to me when I heard it live like a year and a half ago.

I always imagined the guy as a Richard Simmons figure instructing an exercise class. Free music video idea if you want it, Sophie

You know what i'm actually hoping for? kitty cat or cherry pop. Higher never really felt like it deserved a full song for me. Like, it was always used as a transition piece in sets. Kittycat could be for Charli, since her future album will be called "Drop That Kitty", but I believe Cherry Pop is for LIZ. I believe Throw It Up could be for Charli, also. Wait. Charli XCX is naming her album after that hip hop song she did with Ty Dolla $ign and Tinashe???

Cool, can't wait for the vinyl to arrive on friday - and a bonus track is super welcome considering the album is under 30 mins !

Is there a way of purchasing the Japan bonus track from outside Japan? (i'm guessing probably not legally but there must be some sort of workaround). I'm sure everyone here wants to hear it as soon as possible!

Hey, isn't it Friday in Japan now?
If anyone has it already, I would love and appreciate you if you tell me how amazing it is, in my inbox.

I'm currently on the Japanese version of the store (you can change it by clicking on the little flag at the bottom right corner of the page, if you're wondering) and they seem to have removed "Get Higher" from the release? Here's a screenshot: I guess it's possible that they decided to make it Silicon Product-exclusive, but I thought bonus tracks on Japanese releases were generally a required thing? What's the deal?
