hi friends! i've been stalking these boards since pretty much their inception, but have only just felt compelled to actually make an account - me and nonochanel have been talking about the random talking bits that often serve as transitions in A.G. Cook's mixes and where they come from - they're very aesthetically united a lot of the time, so the question was did he get people to act them out, etc. haven't done a thorough search or anything but this is what we've found so far (all of these from Radio Tank Mix): "don't kill me, i'm from minnesota!" dialogue from "This Kiss": www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbc8vm9OZn0 (starts at 2:00) "hardstyle skit" basically taken verbatim from: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_gTi9S9npothe "boys like you don't talk to girls like me" bit in "Exotica (Penguindog55 remix)" and "Ain't Nobody Like You": grooveshark.com/#/search/song?q=Chester+French+Skit%3A+%22Chloe+Jones%22+%28Starring+Cassie%29the Aphex Aural Exciter (the bit at the end of "Guess Wot?") is some audio effects unit so i guess it's taken from some ad for it. haven't been able to track it down tho also the bit at the beginning of "Lil Data - ? ? ?" in Personal Computer Mix sounds like exactly like a Doopees/Yann Tomita/Astro Age Steel Orchestra kind of thing but i haven't found anything specific from there that matches it does anyone know the sources for any of the other bits? thanks in advance~

"Promenade/Ice Cave/The Birds" from the Radio Tank mix has something from Freaks and Geeks ("So we can make out...")

There's a bit from the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch intro on the Warlord Embassy mix (if that counts).
I'm showing my age here.

Side-note: Is Luna another artist?

no its either A. G. or Danny L Harle's cat, I believe. A. G. Cook did the remix and added like some very subtle meows or something in the mix, so he called it Luna Remix. I read that in some Danny L Harle interview.

I read that in some Danny L Harle interview. Theres a version floating around with Danny rapping, and the Luna version has the rap removed. And probably some meows. Pretty sure Luna is Danny's cat
