Sick write-up fantasma, thanks a lot! Wish I could've been there. Disappointed to hear about some of the Manicure crew acting so out of line, though.

LOL that doesn't surprise me re: the manicure/jack people
I'm kinda rubbed the wrong way by them for whatever reason, from being at a few shows that they were at at SXSW their whole vibe is way different from the PC crew. weird clique-y posturing almost, which is the opposite of good show conduct imo, whereas most all of the PC people I got to talk to were really friendly/polite
re the event it's satisfying to see that it otherwise went pretty well, though I am pretty disappointed that it seems to have been a standalone art exhibit vs. an actual far reaching thing like the promo material was saying. Anyhow, now that this is all done hopefully we can look forward to seeing some music released over the summer finally?! been too long, and now there's not the excuse of "Well, they're focusing on SXSW/Pop Cube"

From the legal doc: "...and to observe in full when called upon Pop Cube Entertainment News, Dux Content’s Jungle Jam and all main theater performances and behind-the-scenes footage" Can anyone who was there account for these, and also this? I'm just in denial that it's actually over after so much buildup

I have the suspicion or rather the hope that SXSW and Pop Cube were still part of the build up and something really big and exciting is coming soon

I'm just in denial that it's actually over after so much buildup I wasn't there but from what I can tell Pop Cube Entertainment News were the two red carpet reporters, Dux Content's Jungle Jam was the bit when AG and Danny DJ'd before people entered the 'pop cube' and then the theater performances were the performances itself. I wonder what the behind-the-scenes footage was? Maybe something to do with the Pop Cube trailers? I agree that it's quite disappointing after all our speculation but I think at this point our hype about anything PCM does is so huge that we expect them to do these increasingly huge things and create these amazing spectacles/multimedia experiences that, realistically, we couldn't really expect from any other artist or collective. To a certain extent our hype is justified as a result of things like PCM x SXSW, QT and Sophie at Boiler Room, Dead or Alive Stream, surprise releases and accompanying websites and videos, etc., which HAVE proven PCM to be unlike any other artists or collective. But I think, although the atmosphere of expectation surrounding PCM (what are they going to do next? How are they going to top themselves?) certainly adds to their success and our interest in everything they do, it will also inevitably lead to disappointment from time to time.

Yeah as much as I love ponibbi on social media, a lot of the soundcloud/jack clique seem pretty obnoxious on twitter. They tend to act extremely entitled to everything lol. Especially the younger ones...

Between performances when you went back out to the first room, you could see backstage footage on the TVs--the next performer getting ready, etc. That could be the behind-the-scenes footage. Also I think A. G. in the car is just having some fun at the red bull studio where they got some gear/tested out cameras and whatnot.

Woah had no idea Daniel Lopatin/OPN was there. I saw Pete from Anamanaguchi and the DFA labelhead walking around though. Great write-up fantasma! I think I experienced the same group of obnoxious people who stormed through the crowd every set too, I think they managed to piss off the entire audience lol

Thank you fantasma for the recap! Did you guys read the NY Times writeup? It sounds like the crowd was not dancing very much, that kinda sucks. I find it interesting that QT didn't give out any cans this time, maybe trying to avoid the stampede situation that happened at SXSW... I wonder if the drink really will go on sale today, there have been lots of hints that it will.

didn't know who ponibbi was until this show and can't say i like them at all. only bad part about the show was them and their obnoxious crew. i didn't see any of them at the after party though. did anything happen today with qt? the 11th is fully over almost everywhere, and i didn't hear or see anything about it.

I'm quite sure that when QT said the drink was being released on the 11th, they were just talking about the song getting a proper release on iTunes. But I'd love to be proven wrong!

I'm pretty sure QT Is a Real Drink and will be available worldwide soon.
Why do you think RED BULL gave them all that money?
It's obvious they want the secret to QT to improve their formula. In return they help QT with their distribution channels.
Mark my words!
