I like that she's back, but it's just another Nakata-produced Kyary track. No innovation at all. nakata's productions just don't do it for me anymore, really loved the songs hes done for natsume mito though especially "I'll do my best"

the song is pretty good but the vid is like.... too HD. You can see the acid toned set wobble at some points and I swear the costume department picked clothes whose textures would mess up the camera. reminds me of 'The Cat In The Hat' movie. weird.

While her current stuff is trash I have to say I adore her "Colour the small one" album and two much older sha has made and now they're forgotten and underrated.

I'm glad that they moved away from the sleazy sexy concepts they've had in the past, but the song doesn't do much for me. I love the "he's so dreamy, hot and creamy" part, though.

The aesthetic for Kpop videos lately have been very pretty and similar in use of colors and lights and brightness. They seem much brighter. They have like the girly aesthetic but they've matured it. It's nice. But this song is boring but has potential for a dope ass remix.

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are supposedly dating and tbh I really hope we get that alt rnb pop album from Selena.
Nicki has songs with Nick Jonas, Jason Derulo, Major Lazer, David Guetta and apparently much more coming out this year and I'm shook. Then she has her own stuff coming out.
Ariana Grande is apparently finished with her album and gbh if we get another DW im cancelling her. It took her three albums to get to the one she actually wanted to make. So now this album needs to be different.

I really hope soundtracks (I mean these commercial ones), interludes in albums and music videos as short films will die this year. I mean, the last two has potential but usually they are just boring attempts to seem artistic, deep and ambitious. It's just art for arts sake. .

Like the Divergent Soundtrack or the We Are Your Friends Soundtrack. The new Fifty Shades of Grey Soundtrack I think they are trying to make all the songs good. Since they're all sex songs I'm curious to what they sound like. Usually when I think of sex songs I think of FKA Twigs and RnB music. Not Taylor Swift and Nick Jonas lol. But we'll have to see. Short Films as music videos doesn't work with a lot of artists. I've seen some excellent ones. But I think the mainstream caught on because of Beyoncé. But hers was mediocre. Just has good messages and decent visuals. I don't think we are gonna see a mainstream artist showcase a good one though. They aren't very creative. Maybe Gaga will do something again like good old days.

I love the xx. Ed Sheeran is boring af though The xx has the saving grace of Jamie for me... In Colour was a knockout album. Ed Sheehan is for freshman college white Christian girls. Whatever that means.

Glory.. is another Britney album that I just can't get behind. Her music has been so lackluster. Last good Britney album, Circus.. and even then...

www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh772V1KyXkThis is probably my most anticipated album this year. Not to overhype it but I think she can reach Velvet Rope levels with this, based on the songs she played live. I'm not as into this song though. The production is crazy, but it kinda just sounds like a less interesting version of that "Bound" song she's been playing live.
