I'm guessing you aren't a fan of post Malone and iggy right? I wish people wouldn't show their face and then ppl would judge the music rather then the visual whether it's race, body, or looks I've always loved Iggy. Just thought she was dumb. She still is but she's adjusted and tbh she needs to leak her surgeon cause they did a good job. I don't like straight white boy rap. There's just nothing for me there it's usually all cringe and stereotypical things that like frat boys do. It's just not my cup of tea. The music is usually just not good either. G-Eazy tries. But nah. I like Iggy and liked Brooke and all the girls. I never liked Iggy until Trap Gold and then I was hooked. Women in general just have more shit to Say in rap cause they go through a lot of shit. Men are always on the giving end if all the shit women deal with. Most white rappers can't rap at all. Post Malone, Iggy, Brooke, Kreayshawn or whoever can't rap lmao. Logic can rap but his music is like if Halsey was a boy and rapped. original great male rappers like Biggie and Tupac have a lot more to say then a lot of rappers male and female today. It's not fair to generalize. You should listen to Lady. She's my favorite rapper in the entire world. Her album "Bout dat life" is the best thing on planet earth. So genuine, so clever

So genuine, so clever out of all rappers you chose Lady skdjslskhskshksnskdbskbdbddndbdjdjdjdjdkskskalaaljdosjekwwjjewdnssn But honestly the 90's was different. There wasn't like social media or anything or like better economic situations and different social climate. Itd be weird to compare the now and then cause it was a whole different time. And everything was experimental. Younger rappers now just aren't that mature where they can make something that great. We do have Kendrick, Vic Mensa and Vince and other young guys that say valuable shit in their songs no matter how it sounds. Female rap is different in a sense where it's just more versatile than what men have been doing the past 10 years. It's gone outside the box and become bigger than life. There are great messages in both but it's just received differently or given differently. Even though people gas's the 90's we also had the most sexual culture musically than we do now. The whole "baby making" music lmao like them songs are beautiful. But they are nasty lmao nowadays it's just more explicit and like everything is being said so rappers and even singers a lot of the times have nothing to say anymore or nothing of value.

Imo cupcakke puts out too much music in a short amount of time so therefore the quality sometimes lacks especially in the more recent works. I think her first two albums are the best. STD especially. I didn't like audacious or queen elizabitch contrary to popular opinion. Although who can't deny that LGBT is a total bop?🏳️🌈

You can tell a lot with her videos too. Like some of them would be so great if she spent like another week on them.

i see your point but there were many black and white and everything in between collaborations musically this year. If you watched the VMAs most songs had many races of ppl who participated in music videos and the songs. Even swish swish (although not my favorite) was a highly anticipated event consisting of a black pop/rap star and a white pop star. In the past there were stupid beefs like Miley and Nicki which made race seem divided. I'm glad artists are working together to create art instead of petty crap. there definitely needs to be a tide change in music regarding race and sexualities and even just the people in pop music. Like, we have the same people from like 2007 just barely doing anything really interesting. And honestly at the VMAs with all the hip hop & R&B that's actually on the charts the performers were basically mostly just white artists. lmfao youre so delusional all over this thread. The charts aren't "filled with just white artists" theres 13 percent of the american population it's going to be representative of that in our pop music. meaning at least 13 percent of black people should be represented & it's actually much more than that. Probably the most prejudiced/racist delusional person I've ever witnessed in my life

Yeah, Ice, statistics don't really work like that. A lot of things should be taken into consideration before making the statements you are making. Do some studying about it and I'm sure you'll understand it
