Hey everyone! So I have been on this forum for about two years now. Starting out, it seemed like an awesome place to talk about PC Music and associated/similar artists. But somewhere along the line that changed--now it seems like somebody is always attacking someone for something they said. I just wanted to start a discussion on why this happened? PC Music itself has said that there "ethos [is] to create an inclusive musical environment and community of people from all backgrounds," and I feel like this forum has gone away from that.
Thoughts?
EDIT:
Additionally, what can we do to get back to that? I really do miss seeing everyone just excited about talking about PC Music. Not saying that change is bad, but where we are is quite toxic.

I don't think it's super helpful for me to put a date on this but I started noticing this in mid-2015, it got a little bit worse of 2016, but for about 3 months it's been growing to a really horrible high. I honestly don't know what triggered it

I blame tense social climate of the world. And the unknowing if World War 3 will actually be a thing.
But tbh this started since we found out about Charli & Sophie in 2015.

I blame tense social climate of the world. And the unknowing if World War 3 will actually be a thing. But tbh this started since we found out about Charli & Sophie in 2015. I definitely agree with that, once the Charli XCX x SOPHIE collab thread went up, it's gone downhill. I think a lot if has to do with misunderstanding what people mean.... |

I think that it mostly has to do with the influx of new members + anons and people misunderstanding my humor (I know I'm to blame. I'm not that dense). But there was a time recently where even I had no idea of what was going on. Like that random Janet Jackson fan and people kicking the "PCM is racist" dead (disintegrated, honestly) horse. |

Frustrating lack of music and consistent failed promises from PC Music are making the fans bored and irate. Hannah Diamond needs to drop the LP so we can all be nice to eachother again.
