Hi friends I'd really like to do another laser beam dance off.
The one-year anniversary of DOALB is soon (April 30) and I think we should do one then to celebrate. But I'd also like to sqeeze on in before that, I'm thinking April 2? Two DOALBs in one month?! Unprecedented! I'll post details soon.

Are we staying on Dubtrack or migrating to Plug.DJ?

Well I dunno. Personally I think plug has handled things very poorly so I'm not exactly rushing to support them again. Also it was very buggy. Dubtrack is uglier, less intuitive, and has less features but at least it works (most of the time).
Anyway that stg.plug site doesn't even work for me - it just gives me a black screen when I join a room or log in. I'll hold off until plug officially launches again before making a decision on this.
edit: okay it doesn't work for me on chrome, but it does work on windows 10's edge browser thing. huh

How do you guys make your mixes? Do I just get a bunch of tracks together in some order and play them or do I need to mixed them together?

I think I'll give a try. How many songs is the limit? (Warning: it won't probably be seamless and it will be pretty random).

Dubtrack is uglier, less intuitive, and has less features but at least it works (most of the time). You may like cytu.be/ as an alternative. Supports YouTube, SoundCloud, Vimeo, direct video file links, iframes, probably more. Custom room CSS and javascript, emotes, word filters (which can include HTML), several permission levels for various things. Toggle playlist openness. Sync to one person (who can skip around and pause) or just the server. Mobile support isn't great, though it works fine for me in Puffin Pro 8)))

Experimenting with a different time slot for this one (note the time is in PST, not GMT). Hope you can still make it! As usual lemme know if you wanna play a set. All genres and skill levels welcome. NO RULEZ

I always want to join this stuff but then I immediately lose interest because of my (lack of) skill level

@matt seriously no skill is required to do this. Just download Audacity and use the fade-in/fade-out effects.
