Well I'm gonna edit this in my library based on my wishes but this is overall a good selection. Really wish that they replaced the Chris Lee remixes with the first track in the URSULA mix and the Super Natural Remix (although maybe they couldn't get the sample of that one line from Clowns cleared). It just doesn't fit honestly, nothing against the remixes though. Also would be nice to have Kane and Harpsichord in there. Maybe take out Money On A Gold Plate bc compared to the other stuff, it sounds v dated and why have it there while Cos I Love U is also there. Also again, dark.space>>>>>>>>>>hi.tech. So if I replaced the tracks mentioned, it would be these 20 tracks: Now That's What I Call Mayhem!
1. Me4U Remix 2. Never Thought 3. LLL 4. MoM 5. Distant Promise 6. Blink 7. Definitely Come Together 8. Cos I Love U 9. Dance Floor 10. 1UL 11. Casey Asked Me Am I Angry 12. Pobbles 13. Droom 14. Behind the Wall 15. Supernatural Remix 16. dark.space 17. Windowlicker 18. Temple Edit 19. Clowns (from Mythomalia) 20. How Passacaglia (the perfect ending bc of it's beauty)

Done some nerd thinking about the comp of my own:
I find it interesting that hi.tech is still credited to tonight.burns.red? I guess that means each track on version.ii actually was done by separate entities, rather than that being a little poem. I wouldn't've ended on that track, though - similar to Vol. 2 I always find a Life Sim track to be anticlimactic rather than the end credits, build to infinity they're going for.
In fact, I kind of prefer the sequencing of my homebrew comp where its just all the singles in chronological order because then Never Thought is at the end; all the cute but unmemorable-out-of-context experiments really build up to a huge pop smash, whereas this one just kind of trails out. (And obvi you get some of the absenses.) Ending on a Harpsichord Session (like above) is also a good idea, as it's a bit of a left turn. You could have it both ways with Other Passacaglia?
Still, thanks to them for collecting this bc I'm happy to call this PC Music Volume 2.5, lol. Less concise than either one but sums up the free-thinking nature of the label that I love so much better than 2, imo
