1•••• During our last Dancing On A Laser Beam, somebody mentioned that the board should do one huge collab. They way it'd work is someone would start and the file (whichever format we use) would be passed around. If you are the somebody who came up with this, please tag yourself! I think this is a brilliant idea. Obviously you guys can all discuss how this will go. And we can put it together. 2•••• Thinking about an ultimate collab had me thinking. On the forum here we have a shit ton of people who make music, do graphics, write, sing, and so forth. Also during the last DOALB and a couple other DOALB's there was mentions of a Dancing On A Laser Beam festival set at like festivals. So this got me thinking, why don't we just put together a Dancing On A Laser Beam compilation album. It'd be fun. Basskid has their Hellectronics label and we can put it out on there. It's like we have all the creatives in different avenues on here supporting PC Music and we can literally start our own type of label thing, and there's enough of us to do so. From what I've heard from others so far, we all pretty much make lots of different types of music. I think it'd be really good. And it'd put the forum to good use! We can even start an account to support it financially if we really wanna put it on iTunes or something. Think about it! The future may just be in our hands!

I think it was me who recommended something like this but not exactly this, it would be so cool to make a song or compilation album with all of us ❤️❤️

Yooo I was the one talking about this at the last DOALB. I think it could work out. I do photoshop and video editing. I make music as well... so maybe let's just figure out how to start this thing?
The only problem I see us having is that we use different DAWs. Maybe if we have the logic people go first.. then someone can pass it on to us ableton users? Idk.. but let's start planning!
Edit: I do a bunch of ambiance, sound scape type of music

Love this idea! I probably couldn't contribute much musically but I do have some interesting sfx/sample packs that might be useful depending on the aesthetic. And maybe could help with visuals (a music video would be fun??) your video editing is sick af i can contribute a track probably <3

I actually like this! Should I do a poll? If we should do a huge collab or a compilation album?

I actually love this! And I'd be happy to do this on my label! Just for my sanity, can someone create a google spreadsheet that would show who wants to participate?
