I know the irony of me being the one making this thread, but I think it's worth discussing, even if just for the sake of it. - Was it because it's the natural way of how Internet communities decay in civility over time?
- Was it because we had a migration of pop music forum members (e.g. ATRL) that have a different way of dealing with internet boards and are overall less mature, age and/or mind-wise and resort to childish repetition and name-calling?
- Was it because someone saw an opportunity for trolling when the boards were open for guests and we never really recuperated from it?
- Was it because some people took obvious trolls (e.g. moi) too seriously and it became indistinct what was trolling and what was not?
- Was it because we became too engrossed with our own personal views and started applying it to stuff that had nothing to do with it?
- Was it because of Charli XCX (the obvious reason)?
Let's discuss.

I think its not just here, but its probably people coming over from other forums. I think there also seems to be less of a "lurk until you understand how the forum works" culture than there (IMO) should be. Maybe it's just people being more unaware of stuff like what happened with USENET/eternal summer, and I guess PCM has got to it's eternal summer point now. Due to (IMO) collaborations with other people, PC Music's fanbase has changed in general, not just here. Its a shame, but it seems to be what they/A.G. wants, so there we go. I just hope it doesn't get to the point I have to hide being a PC Music fan.

I apologize to everyone for getting on arguing with people, I just feel like when people are strong in their opinions, I should state mine. I'm sorry, I know it doesn't always help

Complete serious, can we pin this to the very front page as a warning?

Complete serious, can we pin this to the very front page as a warning? Even though Jammy pinned a post on the main forum about the new rules (gr8 Dua Lipa promoz), someone already threatened me today, so it just comes down to some people not knowing how to behave socially...

Let's be real. Bullying is shitty. Ppl go on this forum to meet others with common interests, and when it just gets to be dumb fighting matches, it needs to stop
