Well maybe we do. To me, aggression would be calling me a fag. A micro aggression would be suggesting I wouldn’t want to play football. Microagressions are akin to saying "I don't understand why you need to say things like 'ooh girl okay work'. Just talk like a normal person, not like a glittered Barbie kitten". the gay men post was completely separate to me talking to beep just fyi. It was a funny last 3 pages & I enjoyed them basically. Microagressions aren't a real problem that exist & if it does, it isn't one that needs to have priority over the mass amount of issues plaguing the gay community. It's simply a distraction. I'm grateful that the gay men I've ever surrounded myself with highlight the grotesque amount of bigotry of being LGBT in the middle east (horrific by the way), or terrible homophobia in the states, and so forth rather than such shallow inconveniences. In fact most gay men do think like this hopefully & look towards the meat of the problem. Only a small subset of people are focused on online microaggressiveness or whatever. Would be borderline untolerable & I would have the trouble to have the resistance to fight against that, I can't imagine some of you in such a situation..idk dude at some point you gotta grow up & fight the better battles. Ok well I agree with you about a lot, but my opinion is that there just isn’t a lot left to fight for because we’ve achieved so much. In this victim-culture we have today, people choose to find anything to complain about, and to me, it comes off as spoiled and privileged. Obviously I want to get to a place where no agression exists and there’s full acceptance, but acting like your being oppressed over 1% of what our ancestors experienced is tough. |

Look, it's not that I want to be mad at @loveless, it's just that what she said was something that I've heard countless of times. It sounded like "just be less gay", and I wanted to confront her on that.
Besides that, could you just ignore beep or other people that displease you here? No one came directly at you for you to come after them, so just, idk, let them be.
