yeah upon the first couple passes i definitely appreciate it more from a textural/timbral standpoint. but it still sounds "cool". more "masculine" (?) -sounding than most pc so far? but it's computer music! It's not far off from A.G. Cook's or Felicita's more abrasive stuff but yeah, lots of gnarled sounds. I think the art fits really well - some sort of hostile landscape viewed through thick glass. It's a far cry from lots of the early stuff for sure. Really digging Popular and Heat Death. Also the sick lyric video for Recurse!!! |

So hey Big Update umru and A.G. are doing a b2b DJ set this Saturday under the moniker "Charli's Angels" at a Minecraft-server music festival:
It's called Fire Festival, Hudson Mohawke is playing, and I'm being serious when I say it might be a career highlight for everyone involved.
