I feel like she's just had a lot of shitty luck in the industry and I'm not sure how much you can blame her for and how much is just bad management. Things seemed to be going well for her when she first started with Mad Decent and then that tapered off...then she got signed with Columbia and put out a song produced by Pharrell but it didn't really do anything for her career. Then she had to basically fight for Columbia to let her release anything else and when they finally put out "When I Rule the World" it gave her fanbase a boost but she stopped releasing for over a year so I think people just forgot about her. Columbia isn't even listed on her profiles anymore so I guess that ended? I think she's all over the place because a lot of artists are good at focusing on their art but not so good at the business side of it and she's had no one really care about the business side of her art basically her whole career :/....and on top of all that she has shady friends (more than Charli I'm sure) that rip off her ideas and don't give her any credit or support. I would be bitter and lost too if I were her but I don't think throwing shade on twitter is the best way to handle it. It's just hard to see one of your favorite artists start to lose it

Put your self in Liz's shoes. She's been in show business since she was 12 years old. Finally she starts to gain traction as a music artist and is able to work with producers who inspire her, like SOPHIE. She gets significant promotion and funding for a music video.

Around the same time, Liz ends up as an extra in a Charli music video (Breaking Up). Charli hears Liz's song When I Rule the World and is like, "Wow, I the album I made is trash, I'm gonna cancel my tour do exactly what this girl is doing."

Now Charli is making one of the highest anticipated pop albums, releasing (multiple) mixtapes, doing festival tours, all based on this aesthetic. If I were Liz I would be mad too.

This is very true. If She had good management and got a distribution deal at least, she'd kill it.

Liz is a force to be reckoned with. Cross your Heart was so ambitious and special. It was like an extremely long pop anthem and every track blended so well. It's only a matter of time before things start to blow up. Not sure what is happening with Lip gloss and Cherry Pop, but that is by far one of the best PC Music tracks of all time. Just perfect. As for the tweets- don't read too much into things. Don't we all shade on social media? Doesn't mean it's about anyone
