I wonder what kind of label mechanism is stopping her from releasing anything. she has Burning Up prod. by Corin from Purity Ring, some song with Brooke Candy and those SOPHIE/A.G. Cook tracks and all she‘s allowed to is spending money on a video for a truly generic song

Cook tracks and all she‘s allowed to is spending money on a video for a truly generic song she’s independent now afaik so she should have complete freedom over any new or newish songs, but it’s possible that there’s ownership/rights conflicts with some of her older work, either from her old label or producers |

Since lg+cp is listed on shazam as an a.g. single it wouldn't have any bearing on whatever Liz is releasing next since it would be a.g. putting it out.
The fact that it just got added to shazam (which isn't editable by fans) is a pretty solid sign that it's coming

That was the debut in this newer line of shows. The first gig was a bit messy with sound engineering problems. Sophie was getting a shit ton of unnecessary hate for drug accusations and the Tel Aviv show. And then people have the audacity to complain about their not being more music after all of the hate she’s gotten. Give the girl a break- I can’t even imagine what her genius brain goes through on the daily. |
