I want to start a thread where we post Sophie instrumentals/edits, as i've just came across the 'rule the world instrumental
I've also got a 'Bitch I'm madonna' instrumental that i posted on my channel;
If anyone can find the instrumental to 'Koi' that would be amazing!!!

Oh wow, the 'Bitch I'm Madonna' instrumental is fantastic! Where did you find that? It's also great because all of the shitty Diplo parts are mostly missing. And I love the very SOPHIE Lemonade 'pop' noise that appears a couple of times but first happens at 0:23-0:24-ish. Hearing this just makes me long for a version that was just produced by SOPHIE. It would have been so good!

i have a version i found on SoulseekQT (yeah!), i'll post it so you guys can compare with the versions you have. edit: here edit 2: an audio player plugin for the forum would be a good idea. |

dont think this is official Sounds like a karaoke version? Karaoke places do those edits for pop music that doesn't come with instrumentals. I never looked into the mechanics of it, it's probably just a single agency? Would be cool to try to find out. |

Most of the time, Japanese singles from Japanese artists come with an instrumental version with it. Strangely, the album that has B Who I Want 2 B (_genic) hasn't had a single, which is weird for Namie, because she releases like six singles before the release of the album containing said singles. |

In my experience, Karaoke instrumentals are rarely the actual instrumental, but copies rather painstakingly produced in imitation of the original.
Like this one is scarily accurate, you can tell some dude listened to every detail of the original and attempted to recreate it, but there are subtle differences in the timbre of certain synths that tip me off to the fact that this isn't SOPHIE's original
but then again, it could very well be the original instrumental, just in lower quality?
