My Japanese CD has just arrived, "Get Higher" is not on the actual CD but there is a downlode code via Bleep inside which is pretty annoying as I like my music on physical format!!! First editions also come with a free magnet. That's disappointing, it didn't say anywhere that the bonus wasn't on the actual cd. I ordered the Japan cd but it didn't ship yet. The bonus magnet looks cool at least.

well looks like someone else got their hands on it first but my copy has arrived and my offer still stands.
PM me if you wish to discuss this brilliant piece of music.
also there's a whole fuckton of liner notes in Japanese, I'll do a translation at some point and post. a bit busy prepping for JLPT N3 to take on 5 pages of advanced Japanese (thought it might help me study but honestly it's more N1 level and I'm not trying to cram unnecessarily technical vocabulary and grammar for an intermediate-level language test)

So many fond memories! Good luck! And a translation at some point would be great! Or even just pictures of what the booklet looks like would be great, I haven't seen any yet and I'm very curious as to what's in the PRODUCT liner.

The Japanese liner notes are a separate booklet, pretty uninteresting appearance-wise, featuring a long-form blurb from some dude who works for "CARELESS CRITIC" whatever that may be, as well as a shorter bit at the end from a guy who works for Crypton Future Media, who make the Vocaloid software. The actual booklet is very simple and minimalist, no interesting fonts, "ALL TRACKS WRITTEN AND PRODUCED BY SOPHIE," copyright Numbers &c. But then the meaty bit, which I will quote in full (and in all caps of course): "I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ELLA, POLLY, RAFFY, NABIHAH, TESS, PINKY AND NICHOLAS FOR HELPING ME TO FIND MY VOICE. SPECIAL THANKS TO ALEX CLAPWORTHY, HAYDEN DUNHAM, AG AND ALL OF PC, NEIL, CALUM, JACK, ADAM AND RICHARD AT NUMBERS, ERIC WRENN, REBECCA PROCHNIK, JOHN ROBERTS AND BC, DPKBEJMMDJA AND FRIENDS NEW AND OLD. THANK YOU. SOPHIE."

There must be someone who had done vocals for BIPP/LEMONADE/NMTS!

This makes me wonder if Tess is the singer of LEMONADE.
Also: Is "DPKBEJMMDJA" a name or an acronym he made up?
