Omfg the memories. 90% of those songs were bops. I'm surprised Selena Gonez & The Scene weren't on there. They really played Love You Like A Love Song all the time. I LOVE Love You Like a Love Song omg. Still watch that video all the time. Also I am kinda on board with you re: 2010-2012 being better in pop music but I'm like 90% sure that's just nostalgia from me being in college at that time and having good memories associated with certain songs. Love You Like a Love Song's still a jam.

@matt YES holy shit I must have listened to it 10 times already. Usually conscious/"woke" music can be so corny but she's able to make such succinct political points without being pretentious. That music video is so powerful too (kinda weird to me that there's effectively only one degree of separation b/w Naomi Campbell and Oneohtrix Point Never now tho lol). The production is def. more balanced b/w the two producers too, I thought 4 Degrees was much more leaning on the Hudson Mohawke side of things. Can't wait for this album
EDIT: fixed a grammar error I made a week ago lol

The Baauer album is fire flames. It's like trap and borderline electronics. It didn't come out yet but I got the leak. PM me for the Dropbox link, if you're interested.

have you guys heard the new ariana grande song yet? it's fire!! and im also really really really excited for paul institute ive been waiting for new jai paul stuff since i discovered him (which was way late)! Which one? Dangerous Woman is alright. Sounds like Earned it by The Weeknd with minimal production. Be Alright is okay I guess but the whole song is just bells and the Elevator synth on NI Massive and just her vocals. I feel like her songs are good but like all she does is make music that's good quality with minimal production and just shows off her voice. Be Alright is more tame but it's kinda just a catchy song for the summer. I feel like she makes better music when it's not her song. Like, Adore she did with Cashmere Cat and All My Love she did with Major Lazer. Also am I the only one who hears there's something like stuffy about her voice. It sounds like if Christina Aguilera was singing and we had cotton balls in our ears so the singing sounded kinda puffy(?) idk. And because of that sometimes it's hard to understand her lyrics. Like maybe she's too nasally idk. But her voice is like muffled sounding almost. I feel like she would be a great artist all around if she took like a good or 3 years off and actually gave thought into her album. Cause how many basic pop songs can she do? she's stepped out of pop before so idk why she tends to just make basic pop music when she can do so much more. Idk I like her but right now, she's with Demi Lovato as just a voice. Not an actual artist. Until I hear the album. Her music is way better than Demi''s by far though.
