My review:
A New Family: prob my fav on the EP, the beat is so powerful and simple, but complex. The screams are chilling and the vocal chant is trippy af. LOVE IT
Coughing up pearls: another great one, the beat is very crisp, those weird throats sounds rly make it interesting.
I woke up: melodically great, love the vocals and very train-of-thought lyrics
Softly: nice little interlude
In three words: it's good, Just not my fav. Sounds more like other stuff he's done. Hopefully it'll grow on me
Track 6: pretty, but a little lulling.

I woke up gives me strange and subtle vibes from "fiber" by sophie soundcloud.com/vishwang/sophie-fibermaybe i'm just going crazy but the syncopation and sound design have similarities. whereas sophie's is metallic and sour, felicitas is highly toyetic and at once childlike and very mature, but the effect is a little similar, especially in the middle-end of i woke up |
