probably a sad indictment of my life, but i get tremendously excited for these and compile little tracklists for my favourite sections. although, since most of them are untitled, they end up looking like this (mostly relates to the danny l harle/sophie bit in the july one):

it's unbelievable how many amazing songs are just buried in them.
haven't listened to the new one yet (i'll listen to it tonight hopefully)... admittedly i'm a little disappointed that there are no pcmusic mainstays on it, but considering the quality of the previous two i certainly wouldn't skip it.

Compiling tracklists for the ones that don't have an official one is actually a really good idea! The amount of times I've wondered if something I've heard on one of them is actually released elsewhere (it is a shame that most of them aren't though)
It might be a good idea to set up a thread so that people can chip in with some IDs?? It could turn out very fruitless (especially in my case, my knowledge of the music they use is hardly encyclopedic) but I don't know
But yeah I'm further into this mix now and so far it seems to be a very mixed bag. Not very much PC-esque stuff so far but that's to be expected

I agree with the idea of compiling tracklist from the mixes, could be very helpful pulling everyone's knowledge together.
Also, Finn Diesel is a PC Music guy (I think.) The other day I stumbled on some of the PC Music roster's personal Facebook pages, any on Finn Diesel's profile it says "works at pc music."

if anyone's disappointed by the new dis magazine/rinse fm show, you should give fujoshi made me hardcore on subcity a go. plenty of the kind of music that has possibly influenced pcmusic as well as pcmusic/pcmusic-esque music (all existing stuff, though -- no exclusives unfortunately). the dj seems to be completely kind-of enamoured by pcmusic in the same way a lot of us lot are??? in summary: fujoshi -- good radio show; give it go. |

Did anyone ever figure out some of these tracks? I am dying to know what "That's The Way I Am" , "I Never Met Somebody Like You" & "Good Thing Goin' On" are. Probably my favorite minutes in music this year, I am wondering if these are remixes of something?
