Anyone here enamored with the post-internet slant of PC Music? The visual artists, Kim Laughton, Daniel Swan, Organ Armani, etc. But especially the web design of the Christmas 2.0 pages. DV-i of Priz Tats seems to make the most brilliant of these. His music is very pretty too. I'm taking a class on digital art and the teacher gave the class a big list of online resources for digital art / new media and it made me realize how much post-internet art is really being put out there outside of DIS. Here's a great list: netartnet.net/directory/galleriesI really like Kari Altmann's style and Cloaque. There are probably also a lot of Tumblr blogs centered around this stuff. Anyone know more like this? Tank TV is pretty cool.

I agree. I think the heavily textured, bubbly, glossy, goopy whatever is really cool. Like this it's just so juicy

But also the new media/net art aspect is very interesting. I too am in a new media class currently, and the more I learn about it, the more parallels I see between new media canon and PC/AG. He is probably well versed in this stuff. kebabaquarium.com/brown_wiki/MarkTribe/New+Media+Art.htmlThat page has a history and links. I wouldn't call much of it post-internet but there is some cool stuff in there

I think the Priz Tats (which I found on that Xmas comp they did with PC) has excellent artwork as wel (definitely rooted in video games and anime) and a pretty fun & creative site! priztats.com
