1999 is pretty vapid but it seems to be doing really well so I hope it makes ppl check out her other/better work. like i really think exposure is just her biggest problem, most people are never gonna hear a Charli song unless theyre at H&M and use shazam, which feeds the labels reticence to release ANYTHING.
and honestly maybe the fact that the track is so goofy will help how her label views her music, its basically a novelty song so it shows there's some appetite for humor and not just straight-faced EDM pop
