Things go like : The "collaborations" thread took the form of a new net-label/artists collective. We still don't have name. There's the Google Docs for the informations and the Facebook group for social meeting/notifications/many things. Feel totally free to join us and propose what you are up to. The form it's taking mostly seems to work like creating new "personas" mixing different producers/composers/singers. Seems like tons of fun and we have started already to make some songs! For example I made my own "superstars farm" and I've started to work with AI Steam, Gabeji and Basinugget on it (lovely people by the way). We're the new thing! I can't sing for shit but my best friend was a vocal performance major and her boyfriend records her sometimes in his home studio. I don't think he's into PC music but I took her to a SOPHIE show & she loved it. Maybe she'd be interested, although she's definitely not a songwriter, just a singer.

Also I wrote a LOT of poetry in middle school & high school that I would totally give to anyone who wants it as lyrics. I'm sure most of it is crap but I feel like a little bit of bad poetry/sincere teen angst actually fits in with the PCM aesthetic, lol. Some of it was actually meant to be "songs" although I kept no record of what they were supposed to sound like. COOL. I'm a songwriter (or something (?)) . I want to try to make POP HITS. Let's TEAM all together. I can produce too but if anyone in the room feels brave and helps with the producing part would be even more cool. The singer, the writer, the lyrics girl , the producer. Wouldn't it be nice? Let's work like they do it in pop world. |

I'm super down for this you guys. I can produce decently enough, although theres some serious production wizards floating around on soundcloud that I can't live up to. I can write songs too, not quite as well but I'm down to do the major label teamup thing and work together on it. I havent figured out how to get my voice sounding good on this kind of music but I can kinda sing too, well enough for demos at least.

I'm a pop singer-songwriter if anyone needs one. I'm working on a lot of PC-inspired tracks at the moment. I've written like 100 songs in the past few years and I've cut it down to my favourite twenty songs which I'm trying to produce but I'm not a very good producer.
Edit: I can't believe I wrote "I've written 100 songs in the past few days". YEARS. I mean YEARS.

I'd absolutely love to be one of the main singer/figures for the label. On the Google Drive, I recommended the name "Plastic" on its own as a label (though I do love the name PVC Records as well... is that too similar to PC Music??) My current soundcloud link is soundcloud.com/mxtthewofficialI've been working on the same album for like three years but I really need some help production-wise, but I'd love to release on the team/label. I have twenty songs that I'm really happy with (two of them especially) so if anyone needs names/lyrics/anything I'd be really happy to help. Plus I have the best album cover. |
