I kind of feel like Max Tundra is a little bit of a PC Music predecessor, I've never seen AG Cook or SOPHIE mention him as an influence or anything, but I've seen a few people on twitter share this comparison, and I think I've even seen Tundra like a couple of these comparison tweets. The link is especially strong with the glitchy, weird pop of his 2008 album Parallax Error Beheads You. I feel like alot of PC Music fans would like that album.
Tundra hasn't really released anything since that album, but he did recently orchestrate a comeback for early 2000s teen pop duo Daphne and Celeste, which seems like a kinda PC Music-esque move. Also the song is addictive as hell, when I first heard it I became just as obsessed with it as I did with Hey QT

Definitely agree here. And I have seen links between them either on Twitter or FB. Also, Finn dropped this Max Tundra track during his SXSW set: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJ7Pdx-Kbys

on the Thy Slaughter forum (where A.G. and Danny would share music with each other) there is a Max Tundra album posted, so I would think its safe to say its an influence!

iirc max tundra tweeted earlier this year that Maxo was one to check in 2015. At that time I didn't know of Maxo and almost wondered if it was a tundra alias. I hear lots of relevant similarities....eg check 'lights' from the mbgate lp 2002.

This is one of the best things ever! Not in love with the Max Tundra come back but it's nice. However the Reading 2000 fest footage is top notch. www.theguardian.com/music/2015/mar/29/daphne-and-celeste-you-and-i-aloneIt wasn’t just bottles the girls were dodging. As DiConcetto points out, at Reading, someone threw a wheelchair at them. “It took, like, three people to get it up there,” says Cruz. Hang on, doesn’t that mean someone spent the festival without their wheelchair? “That’s what we thought!” says DiConcetto. “Someone lost their mobility because they hated us so much!”
