Hi there all, here is your person who posted the vid on Instagram, is involved with Turban Radio Wave (check Unreleased Tielsie Tracks + AG/SOPHIE/PAYPAL track threads here :-) ) and was granted by the interview SOPHIE gave him just before he hit Prague for the 100th Anniversary Party of Turban Radio Wave show (from which is the Instagram video). Great digging there - I have to admit, that concerning SOPHIE and PC Music (but mostly SOPHIE, as my obsession with him goes way deeper in the past) is just the same as yours there and I also come here to get all the updates! Such a wonderfully curious community, got to say! Btw I upload the whole vid that you saw part of on Instagram here for your (g)listening pleasure (actually I have more of them but as SOPHIE kindly asked me to keep his looks and physical appearance obscured, here goes only the one with his hands :-) ) vid.me/P2CGCheers! Thanks for the awesome posts! Any chance of uploading the others, we don't care if you obscure/blur his face on the other videos. We all know who he is now. Even just audio.. haha

Well, ok, just another short one then. Its kind of a great visual metaphor of SOPHIE's hidden existence and sudden appearance way above current club environment. or something like that. lol. enjoy! vid.me/MwIa

Sometimes I think about all the people who must be lurking here and it makes me nervous that I'm going to say/have already said something stupid, lol.

Sometimes I think about all the people who must be lurking here and it makes me nervous that I'm going to say/have already said something stupid, lol. Yeah its like common knowledge here who everyone is, (and even their birthdays) but it isn't like they have really come out of their online personas yet, even though they may have had plenty of live shows and stuff. Like I am guessing SOPHIE wouldn't be a huge fan of someone yelling his real name out during a show or anything.

Yeah that's the monomachine. Looks so good to quickly get down ideas on the sequencer like in the video.

I didn't know where to put this video either but It guess it kind of fits here as it is SOPHIE working in the studio with none other than Le1f! Fun Times! (I'm guessing SOPHIE’s working on the chord progression for what ended up being "Koi" or at least that's sort of what it sounds a bit like to me! I'm also suspecting this because of the time period of when this was posted... Two years ago, June 30th). https://vine.co/v/hagjHXDjHM1

I didn't really know where else to put this, but here's some cool insight into how SOPHIE uses the Monomachine live. www.oninstagram.com/photo/sophie-msmsmsm-monomachine-atvojeruce-818832469368081211_1269983937I am surprised he doesn't have it MIDI synced to anything and only uses two the two main stereo outs. But its really cool to a. see how much of his live sets are actually coming from the Monomachine. and b. what you can actually get out of that box and just 6 lines of monophonic synthesis (basically, I am glad I have one). More insight to what he's doing: On the camera left there's a series of 6 green lights. Throughout portions of it he's muting the 6 individual tracks. One track is probably one set of percussive sounds one is probably dedicated to a melody, etc. At the beginning he's also picking specific patterns (bars) of music. Does anyone have this video? Would love to see it.
