i know that "PC Music" is a label and stuff but why don't just generalize it and call the gender that? i think it really incorporates all the elements that you guys talked about. I think a problem with using PC Music as a genre name comes from the fact that it isn't descriptive at all. When I first heard of PC music I thought that they were just talking about music made on a computer.

When I first heard of PC music I thought that they were just talking about music made on a computer. i don't think of that as a problem, really. let's take vaporwave as an example: it doesn't describe anything about the music or the genre, but as it spread, people started to link one thing to another. also, you need a name that can stretch the genre a little. i wouldn't call Spinee "bubblegum bass", but it fits really well with "PC Music" and it's variants.
