idk i'm just a curious dude.
mine is because my name is "Mathews" so i just take the vowels off and there it is. sometimes it is already in use (rarely, but it happened), so i use mmtthhwwss instead (mostly because of Justice's TTHHEE PPAARRTTYY)
some others in other places include "ireportu" (because of that brazilian mmorpg strip), "mthwsrj" (because my name is Mathews Araújo, so, again, vowels off), my facebook is /YYY2K (because you can't just put Y2K) and my artistic name for my future project is "Απατουρος" (Apatouros, one of Aphrodite's titles, meaning "the deceptive one").

other times i use "hugdeserver" which is sort of self-explanatory, but it was inspired by gfoty's specific brand of obnoxious

A long time ago I met up with some online friends at an arcade and we laugh we make joke we have good time and then I reached into my pocket and pulled out a handful of salt and we all just stared.

Friopi is a nickname from when I was in college. It started as Frio and then morphed into Friopi and Friopalope, so my friends liked to say it was my Pokemon name. For whatever reason, my college friends were really into nicknames and at one point in time I had so many that my friend told me "If I say anything starting with F you should just assume I'm talking to you."

Probably obvious but it's a play on GFOTY's name. Girlfriend of all time. It doesn't really relate to me, I just thought it was somewhat amusing. I always thought yours was a reference to Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace, a character is referred to as the PGOAT or Prettiest Girl Of All Time. But I suppose that acronym is a thing outside of my extreme IJ nerddom My username is my initials but also a name I've used for my music, initially dr.dr. until some UK future garage producer with the same name took off, at which point I changed it to dr_nothings. Of course I've since changed monikers yet again but seeing as I've yet to plug my soundcloud on this thread I figured this would be the opportunity. |

even though i dont really follow the genre that much, a good 2/3 of my twitter feed is kpop oriented because a lot of my friends are way into that
so like around this time last year i kept seeing all these posts about a group called red velvet forming so i formed bread velvet and that's it idk google seems to think it's original thanks google

It's from a very old (1910s-40s) newspaper comic called Krazy Kat. I will let Wikipedia explain: It was considered 'weird' and was never popular at the time but is now really revered for its dynamic art, setting, and wordplay (it gets downright Finnegans Wake-esque) and was a big influence on everything from Loony Tunes to Calvin & Hobbes.
