Anyone know how the vocals were made on My Miss 2.0? The closest thing I can think that they sound like is this vid. Anyone here working on stuff w English speaking vocaloids? Which?

the only official english-speaking vocaloids on the market are ( male and female): from the VOCALOID series: LEON, LOLA, MIRIAM (all from Zero-G). from the VOCALOID2 series: Sweet ANN (PowerFX), Prima (Zero-G), Megurine Luka (Crypton Future Media), SONiKA (Zero-G), BIG AL (PowerFX), Tonio (Zero-G). from the VOCALOID3 series: OLIVER (PowerFX), AVANNA (Zero-G), KAITO V3 (Crypton Future Media), Megpoid English (Internet Co), Hatsune Miku V3 English (Crypyon Future Media), YOHIOloid (PowerFX), Macne Nana (MI7/Bplats), MEIKO V3 (Crypton Future Media). from the VOCALOID4 series: CYBER DIVA (YAMAHA), Megurine Luka V4X (Crypton Future Media). idk if this helps you but boy it sure was fun to make edit: click on the names to hear the demos.

Couple possible options. I doubt it's Vocaloid software proper, it sounds like an older sort of vocal synthesis program, less precise/polished than vocaloid. Could be a straight-up vocoder, with AG singing into a mic while manipulating the pitch and vibrato of a synthesizer patch. The sound seems most similar to the Ondes Martinot, which you may recognize from the title track on Radiohead's album Kid A. cf. also AG's Heaven remix (the parts that aren't GFOTY/Spinee obviously), definitely a similar technique at work there

Yeah definitely sounds like a vocoder and not vocaloid

well there's also a software called Voiceroid that just says words, not sing them. it's probably not that either, though. idk.
