it's a bit different compared to other things posted in this thread (which were all rlly interesting, thanks for sharing) but in terms of being 'different from the other music in your library'....
i'm typically not into 'hardcore' as a genre, i find it to be a bit 'same-y' and i get bored - but there's a japanese artist called 'DJ Technorch' that i absolutely love.
i find a lot of his tracks to have such character and insane energy... idk, he has a very iconic/fun style to me :-) (couldn't pick an absolute fav so rolled with the top 3, also love the artwork/imagery he uses)

i felt the need to post Picky Picnic here. there are some similar sounds on my library, but they stand out so much. their music is makes you feel so uncomfortable, almost scared, and i love this.
they've only released a cassette, two vinyls and an album, and disbanded in 1989 because one of the two members was arrested for drug usage.

For me probably some Buraka Som Sistema, i'm not really into kuduro music but some of their songs such as Sound of Kuduro & Hangover are pretty good. FKA twigs danced in one of their videos too a while back. Also i have Kamasi Washington's jazz album "The Epic" which is one of my favorite albums of 2015 and that was probably the first time i've properly listened to jazz.

I'm a HUUUGE Picky Picnic fan! Glad to see a fellow fan on here!! Aishu no Melody (The Setting Sun In Africa) is so disturbing and amazing at the same time. it's like if Ratatat and Death Grips collaborated. at first Ha! Ha! Tarachine confused me a little, because everything was so sped up, but then i did a little googling and found out there are two versions on the web, one with the right RPM and one with a wrong one, more sped up.
