well, seen as i am really (and i mean really eclectic), i'd have to say it's probably this: not that i don't like them or this type of music, but i'm focusing on other genres right now and tropicalia is not one of them. how about you, PC Friends?

Do you mean dissonant like noisy or different? Lucky my answer fits both..... coz I'm not really into noise anymore but Sd Laika's album last year was really good

Do you mean dissonant like noisy or different? Lucky my answer fits both..... coz I'm not really into noise anymore but Sd Laika's album last year was really good I saw That's Harakiri on discogs a while ago and gave it a listen (I never would've listened to it had the cover not been so intriguing; reminded me of Aphex Twin's Windowlicker/Come to Daddy) and it's rad. Sounds like a SebastiAn synth or something with Aphex drum influences. A+
I feel like my taste is basic compared to everyone else's, ha. Obviously this is more harmoniously structured than a lot of extremely "out-there" tracks but it kinda reminds me of Boards of Canada in the best possible way. I stumbled upon it when it first came out, I think I was in the seventh or eighth grade.

mthws that first song is really awesome. i absolutely love this song. the lyrics makes no sense at all. well, they do, if you know that the context is about a bad lsd trip. here: When I arrived, it all, it all It all was a mess I just try to get out of it But me myself, I am delighted
I only join this game because I'm really after After exhausting The regular time
On one side the eye outrage Who says that my nose is upturned I don't take it home But if you're near I go there I go there
On the edge of the speck On the edge of the eye The girl dances And within the girl It still dances
And if you close your eyes The girl would still dance Within herself Until the Sun rises Until, within you, it is born Born what has to born

you can't embed soundcloud links here. dunno why, since the forum is about, well, music. you might ask lost in the file system to implement it.
