Didn't want to post this in the main music section. But can anyone explain how ur not a baller happened and why and what its about? i realise hannah diamond is in it, Dj Warlord produced it and William E. Wright did the video just curious really. thanks

also vocal by photographer/artist/designer Alis Pelleschi (http://www.alispelleschi.com) (http://www.meatclothing.co.uk)! I've seen her many times when I was living in bethnal green in London when she just came up from Bradford to London. she used to have her work featured on Supersuper magazine, where she would take snapshots of old people in funky clothes. GFOTY also was in a few videos produced by Supersuper( www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GoqroQM9I8 ) I'm thinking that there may have been a community around it, that resulted in the gathering of a bunch of talented hipsters in London who just recently graduated from college and had time to make work, that led to the success of pc music.  |

William Wright did more than just the video! He's the guy rapping lol. Serious Thugs was part of Gamsonite, the "pseudo-label" A.G. Cook created as a sort of "prototype" to PC Music (cf. the Tank interview). Dux Content, GFOTY, etc. all made their debut on Gamsonite. Serious Thugs' "breakout hit"/only other song on their soundcloud was "Link Ting". Supposedly there was an album, ICE ARENA, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anybody know where that's at? I suspect Cook and Wright and Hannah were at Uni together (which is, I believe, when Gamsonite was active), or met through LOGO or something. Who knew their creative alliance would transcend Serious Thugs? Anyways, here's the only other Serious Thugs song I've found: Nothing too special, but there's a great bit starting at 3:03 where A.G. Cook sings the words "SEX / THAT WE'RE / HAVING / HERE / GIRL / OOH" while a pitched down voice in the backing track intones "...IS NUMBER ONE." Also, just noticed that the credits say it was filmed by Simon Whybray aka JACKdansu! And finally/most importantly, this video also provided crucial material for the only known gif on the internet of A.G. Cook making it rain:  |

I hope there's more Serious Thugs stuff in the future. I think it's kinda interesting that Ur Not A Baller was made after PC Music started. Since AG seems to be more influence in his production recently, I can imagine him making some incredible beats
