Yeah, it was mostly that wearing a USB didn't fit my image of his fashion, which is pretty minimalist. I can totally see how it fits as a musician. I agree, I get really excited when he talks about theory and sculptural sound and stuff. TBH I was a bit disappointed in myself for not getting him to talk more about that stuff in my own interview, maybe it would've been different if we had that conversation in person. I got the impression he doesn't like writing all that much, but maybe that's just because I'm comparing him to my stupidly long-winded English major self. I seriously had to cut out a ton of my own writing before I shared that interview because I wrote way too much, lol.

Oh I hope no one actually found that comment offensive or prying or whatever. It's not like I have any real interest in his personal life, but its human nature to make assumptions, which is why I found it funny cause I figured I wasn't the only one. But as it says in the translated interview - "Music should be about ideas and sound. Not about individuals or 'idols' I reckon." Personally thats a big element of what draws me to the PCM-and-adjacent-artists scene.
That said, I wouldn't mind an explanation of my LUMP theory. Maybe it's an anagram of PLUM.
