I have mixed emotions about this track. I want to love it and I almost do, but it just goes downhill and loses focus after 55 seconds. I wish I could obsess over this, but it's not perfect yet. I need more like the part where they go "Nature's gonna fuck you up, burn my eyes up in the sun, modern life is draining me, it can't give me what I need, responsibility is old and awful, it looks down when I'm unlawful." THOSE LINES ARE GOLD. I WOULD LISTEN TO LIKE FIVE MINUTES OF THAT. but the outro and brevity of this track kindof destroy what it had going on.

I guess what I loved the most about that section of beautiful boys was the bass chords and not exactly the rapping. They're so melodic and really provided a platform for the song to stand on. LMCY just feels kindof anemic and ungrounded cuz it doesn't have a moment/element like that to pin it down and round it out. Shampoo does a better job of this, but the melody is a touch weaker/ the sound design is hella awkward sorry.
Have you ever heard of a band called Kap Bambino? The sound you have here reminds me of their early work, like enhate or neutral. You should totally check them out.

i like the direction you went, but it feels cheap in comparison to beautiful boys. You really did a lot of things right BBASIO tbh. The percussion on this track is unengaging by comparison, partially because of how it's shoved to the back of the mix.
