I still think Sfire 1 is the best work we’ve got out of Sophie in years and kinda what I’m content with up against the releases/leaks this year tbh

I still think Sfire 1 is the best work we’ve got out of Sophie in years and kinda what I’m content with up against the releases/leaks this year tbh I feel this way too, with the exception of the two Let’s Eat Grandma songs & the Vince collabs. Such a shame. |

Old school Sophie fans don’t like the new stuff because it’s more noise music. I agree would be nice to get something new but the new fans who just think it’s edgy eat it up

Sentiment is good. Kim’s verse doesn’t show off her vocals well but the chorus is great. It was good at first at sonar (especially with that bpm) but the really weird warped fem vocals to match the new speed & pitch are gross. Sometimes less is more but yeah the one fun part is Kim’s new verse imo |

Sometimes less is more but yeah the one fun part is Kim’s new verse imo I agree they overproduced the shit out of it. Way too much stuff going on. Sonar version was simplistic but good. I prefer the slower too. |
