Thank you so much! That does fit someone's (who has the demo) description of it! ooooooooh! does that mean a release is coming?? I have no idea. It's registered in ASCAP I believe, so maybe. Hopefully. It's probably one of the weirdest things Sophie has done and I love it. I hope it's one of the summer singles.

You know, I was just looking at this again and realized that the James Wolf Oxytocin EP came out and the 'Boyfriend' song isn't included on it. SOPHIE's releases are very strange, why go to all the trouble of licensing things like 'Boyfriend', 'Koi' and even 'OOH' is registered too but that song seems to have disappeared from the face of the internet. Here is a direct link to the Samuel Long entry we're referencing (and here's one for just Sam Long) for people to easily take a look at the myriad of songs registered but not released! It's kind of maddening how much is registered and how much isn't released. Hopefully there's a rhyme and reason that isn't apparent at the moment, but it would be nice to finally, finally get some SOPHIE releases coming. Also he's at least going to have that Sia remix song released through the Adult Swim singles on the 24th of August (which is a Monday which just keeps reconfirming that whenever Numbers is going to release SOPHIE stuff it's going to be a Monday), maybe that's when the flood of releases he was talking about in the friopi interview will happen? Gah! I'm going through SOPHIE withdrawal so badly! Do you guys think that this confirms that Just Like We Never Said Goodbye and YLOPPUMP are going to be released this summer? Or what's your opinion on it? The others are explained (tracks he produced for something else, or the plan to release OOH in 2013) but these seem to be the only two new solo tracks by him. There's also a song called 'Kitty Cat' that he's played frequently at shows that is rumored to be a solo track.

They only reason I mentioned Kitty Cat is because SOPHIE mentioned it in his interview with friopi. Another track is the UV Love track which apparently is a collaboration with Richard X? That's pretty awesome! It's the third track of the Boiler Room set with the "Makin' my body glow" lyrics.

Very exciting news about the Le1f track. I think this could be the first PC track to hit it big...but then again, we keep saying this, don't we? It just makes me go nuts, though. Such an amazing track! The only problem is I think I've really spoiled it for myself by playing the bootleg TO DEATH!

Of course the only thing by him I knew was a Nine Inch Nails remix so it was obviously a different style, but UV Love sounded so much like a solo SOPHIE track that I was surprised to find out it was a collab.

Yeah, I know Richard X from his fantastic production work with Annie. Sooo good!
One thing I was thinking about per the vocalists for SOPHIE's songs is that a lot of producers will hire a singer for like an hour cheaply in a classifieds ad or something (there are a lot of vocalists that will work and agree to not have themselves credited especially if they don't think it will amount to anything.
Or the vocalists could be a friend of SOPHIE's and A.G. Cook, either way I found we'll ever know the singer of Bipp or Hey QT.

I think Sam Long uses his own voice for most of his production. If you fiddle with the vocals in terms of pitch and deepen the voice, you almost always get the same vocal range (i.e., around a tenor). For a clear example, check out A.G. Cook's edit of BIPP. Otherwise, like in "Hard", Sam cites the vocalist (i.e. GFOTY). I've confirmed this trend for a lot of songs, like Cherry Pop, Bipp, Somebody Like You, and others. It's honestly bloody brilliant how Sam uses his own voice, and I think that this is a really fascinating area of discussion for music (vocal) production. Also, just FYI, Le1f is furious at Vice for this article. I think it's fact-checked validly, but I wouldn't take his sentiments at face value.

Bipp features the same singer from Ooh/Elle/Nothing More To Say. I'm sure Someboy Like You is him.
