Now that there's a super clear recording of GNO. This would be a huge hit but we would never hear it on the radio or even on tv or anywhere. Kinda like in the vain of how Lana Has the huge hits and you'd never hear them anywhere innpublic but you know it's a hit. High key it'll probably be more successful in Europe than in america lmao lana del rey's biggest 'hit' was a remix no one wants dreary dusty overdramatic prom ballads anymore im speaking like generally she's like had hits without it really being in the public eye

Like there are songs that are huge but they aren't songs you'd here in the general public. I used Lana Del Rey as an example cause she's a huge star but like they never played her songs on the radio. Except that one Summertime Sadness remix. After that she basically became one of America's biggest stars without having to be part of our mainstream. We have lots of songs that are really super popular but you wouldn't turn on the radio and hear them. Another song would be that Era Istrefi song. It randomlyblew up but was never on the radio despite the label making an English version. in the new age of streaming, this is very possible. That's basically how Chance The Rapper was able to become a mainstream artist without a label.

Lana is a prime example of a major label using 'indie' as a form of marketing while Chance has built a reputation due to the fact that he is indie. not trying to like, make a huge off topic thread so i wonder if charli's gonna ditch atap; she hasn't performed it on her n1a tour

After the (brief, I imagine) N1A promos, it's time for the second single (or another delay).
