Hm. No. They still play Dancing on My Own and With Every Heartbeat on the radio, too. They're comparable. Just because you don't recognize them as such, doesn't mean they're not. They still use Robyn songs in TV show soundtracks (even ignoring the use on Drag Race, because one could argue that DR is not mainstream), but, aside from Scream Queens, I've never seen a Charli song featured on a TV show. I have never heard Dancing on My Own or With Every Heartbeat or any post-2000 Robyn song on the radio in America. And I've heard multiple Charli songs in TV shows Then maybe the Brazilian mainstream is not so linked to the American mainstream as I thought, because I've heard Robyn on the radio multiple times since '00.

Charli is more mainstream than Robyn. In America at least. Everyone pretty much knows Charli from the Sucker era and we really couldn't escape Fancy and her songs from sucker. And they still play her songs from Sucker on the radio. It's so random, you'll just hear Boom clap & Break the Rules. Robyn is known cause she's iconic but she's like Kylie Minogue. Big International artist but not in the mainstream circuit. Hm. No. They still play Dancing on My Own and With Every Heartbeat on the radio, too. They're comparable. Just because you don't recognize them as such, doesn't mean they're not. In America, Robyn isn't mainstream and hasn't been for long. Her most popular is Dancing On My Own and even that never really got much radio play. Charli is far more popular. Boom Clap was the theme song for the movie The Fault In Our Stars. Boom Clap is in a shit ton of movies now. Break The Rules as well. Charlie's song You Ha Ha is still used in movie commercials specifically. Charli even has a song in that Rihanna movie Home, which I didn't know till this year, it's the last song on the deluxe of Sucker. Charlie's song with Icona Pop is iconic you can never escape it. Just when you thought you did, you hear it in a movie. They played it in Bad Moms with Mila Kunis. Charli also is like a top name writer. She basically written for everyone. Robyn isn't as mainstream. She's just a very well respected icon. Like I said, she's famous in the sense of Kylie Minogue, Björk. Known but not mainstream. You're not gonna turn on radio stations and hear their music cause the radio only play top 40/top 100 in America. Europe has BBC so that shit is all over the place lmao

Give us our mainstream dance track, Charli. You're the only one that can make it happen.
