Nah, no genre name should have 'future' in its name. Not if you want it to survive (whatever that means). Nothing can remain in the 'future' if it exists now and you're actually listening to it. Future is a descriptor that just captures the initial burst of a new scene and the excitement that brings, but usually means it goes on to be co-opted and surpassed by new styles.

It's likely she was reading this thread when she came to that conclusion. it's cool to know that they know about this forum and even access it anonymously (sometimes even not [hi LIZ]), but don't that leave you with a feeling that they know that we are desperate for info and don't even hint about it? (i mean we had that tweet but i mean come on)
