So we all love PC Music, but I'm sure we all have other things on our playlists as well. I'm super curious what else you are all into to see if there's an overlap or if we just all discover new stuff all over the map. To get the ball rolling, other artists I'm into: Oneohtrix Point Never ( Spotify and SoundCloud) YACHT ( Soundcloud, YouTube and website) Jeffrey Brodsky ( Soundcloud) Dan Deacon ( Soundcloud and Spotify) iamamiwhoami ( YouTube) Planningtorock ( Soundcloud and Spotify) What are you into?

Lately I've been listening to The Range a lot. If you like more chill but still super bassy stuff.

mostly I'm into really sugary stuff like PCM, dance pop, happy hardcore etc, smooth sounding/cerebral electronic stuff (the two names that come to mind are Luomo and OPN for some reason. 1080p and Donky Pitch are good for this), some other club music (Night Slugs were my favorite thing 2010-2013, hyperdub are usually good too) and a LOT of southern rap music. if it's club/trunk-rattle music from anywhere between atlanta and houston I probably fuck with it

my music taste is really sporadic and all over the place. But this week I've been listening to a lot of Oneohtrix Point Never, Kate Bush, Little Simz, Nancy Leticia, and The Misfits (Danzig era). None of those really go together haha and by next week I'll most likely have different artists on repeat

Since I was 15-16 I became an indiepop/twee/c86/shoegaze/post-punk fan, also 80s music and that like New Order and the ones below ( quite obscure). i also like 70s/80s disco, some jazz (Carmen McRae, Billie Holiday, mr. Monk , Chet Baker and stuff) , a lot of bossa-nova (my fav one is Desafinado and Lugar Común) , Spanish late 60s pop and Catalan Rumba, late 60s California sunshine pop like Roger Nichols and the small circle of friends or Paul Williams, happy hardcore, rrriot girls bands (Bikini Kill , Cub, Bratmobile & Le Tigre mostly) , punk pop, punk rock like The Clash or The Ramones, j-pop and indie j-pop like Hideki Kaji, The Aprils, Pizzicato Five, 800 Cherries and that stuff, etc . I'm also into the good mainstream pop songs from any time. If the tune's good... I could spend a lifetime talking about music! i like bubblegum like the rest of you and similarly saccharine catchy stuff, female vocals generally, and electronic-influenced stuff. this manifests itself in weird ways that are inconsistent to everyone but me. so i love pc music and kero kero bonito. i want to like j-pop and k-pop but if i can't sing along and know what i'm singing without really learning those languages it falls flat for me. i almost cried at lcd soundsystem's last show. m83. arcade fire. select folky stuff that is on the campy fun twee side like the decemberists. girl power poppy stuff like tegan and sara and fiona apple. charli xcx. ryn weaver. passion pit. not ashamed to admit that i like a lot of straight up top 40 pop either like taylor swift. also i have a special place in my heart for certain prog rock bands like dream theater.
consistent. i promise.

HUGE Brit stan, well-versed but not into too much other Top 40. Marina & the Diamond's new record is nice pop. Charli XCX is cool. Janelle Monae is amazing. Lana's latest record is also great. St. Vincent deservedly won her Grammy. Bjork is a goddess and Vulnicura deserves to win her a Grammy that isn't about how you packaged your CD smh Also into James Blake, FKA Twigs, How to Dress Well, Contact Lens, SOHN, Banks, The Weeknd's first three mixtapes, Purity Ring, Animal Collective, of Montreal, Arca, Pretty Lights and the whole PLM crew, Flume, old school Giorgio Moroder's collabs with Donna Summer, Glass Animals, Niia, Grimes. Just a few that come to mind. As an aside: Trendsetterney makin PC Music in 2011's Femme Fatale haha: youtube.com/watch?v=GNTztyRDl70
